My Profile

Hello! I am an aspiring public school art teacher with a few years of experience. I am passionate, driven, and love to find new ways to allow students to express themselves through art. I have a degree from Montclair State University as well as a TEFL certification.

My main drive to be a teacher is that there is so much more to teaching and helping future generations blossom than sitting in an office. To evolve and grow in a classroom allows for more room for creativity and fun! My number one goal is to give students a chance to learn fundamentals and history in a way that gives them an outlet to have fun in their day.

My mother was a teacher and I grew up getting to watch her teach her second-grade students. I admire my mother, she is one of the biggest inspirations in my career. I am very much like her in many aspects and hope to carry on her teaching legacy. Another large inspiration of mine is Lan Liu, President of CalColor academy. Her love of teaching and care for her students helped shape me into who I am in the classroom. She taught me many things in my time teaching with CalColor and I will continue to build on her foundations as I grow as a teacher.
